Tokelo's experience lies in accelerating the transition to a healthy and sustainable planet for all. She has led and initiated several impact-driven projects in sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation, mitigation, and finance. She currently works part time with the UN Climate Climate Champions team as the Food and Agriculture fellow. In addition to her role as the food and agriculture fellow, she works as an analyst for the Task Force on Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) Secretariat. 

Before joining the TNFD secretariat team, she worked as a senior sustainable agriculture analyst at GreenCape, where she led market research projects, fostered partnerships, and informed decision making processes to unlock investments for a sustainable and nature positive agriculture sector. 

Tokelo holds an MSc degree in Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security from the National University of Ireland Galway and a BSC degree in Applied Statistics and Chemistry from the University of Cape Town.
